When we arrived at the hotel at 7pm on the day of our booking, we were told by the receptionist that the hotel was overbooked and got transferred to another hotel. The hotel didn't bother to inform us in advance of the change in our booking and thus ruined the unique experience we wanted to give to our foreign guests. They were certainly not impressed by Rwiza's unilateral decision to change a confirmed booking."
"Due to the proximity of this hotel to the current Ebola outbreak we gave advance notice of our need to cancel. Many hotels on Expedia will give 100% of your reservation back for a cancelation. Some have a more restrictive 50% refund policy. This was the only hotel in our travels that had an unfair and unreasonable cancellation policy. We even reached out to the staff but unfortunately they were very unresponsive. I recommend looking for hotels that are customer focused. This hotel is not."

저희가 예약을 하고 호텔에 도착해 보니, 호텔 측에선 제 이름으로 된 예약이 없다고 하더군요.
알고 보니, 엑스피디아 사이트와는 이미 꽤 오래 전에 계약을 해지한 상황이라고 들었습니다.
체크아웃을 해야하는 상황에서 의아한 마음에 상담 전화를 걸었지만, 분명 상담원분들은 친절하셨지만 조치된 것은 없었고 국경을 넘어야 하는 상황에서 1시간 반 가량의 시간을 낭비할 뿐이었네요..
이럴 것이라면 왜 사이트에 호텔을 올려 놓으셨을지..? 다시 계약할 것이 아니라면 이런 일이 일어나지 않도록 호텔은 내려주셨으면 좋겠고, 아직 환불도 받지 못하고 포인트만 덜렁 받았는데 빠른 조치가 취해졌으면 좋겠습니다. 절대 예약하지 마세요."
