"Fantastic stay for 2 nights in late September. Location is a challenging drive up a mountain, mixed signage. Great staff, lovely room and outstanding view on a clear sunny day. One challenge - breakfast is provided, dinner is not available....we did ask for a cheese platter one evening (the only option) but it was not made for us, not sure why - so we had to drive 15 mins into town in the dark. Overall a fantastic stay but be warned it is not a hotel, it is a quinta (farm) that does not...
"Très belle accueil chaleureux. De bons conseils de restauration et visites. Petit déjeuner très bon et complet. Merci encore à la réception. Nous recommandons."
"Beautiful little boutique hotel in the heart of the Douro Valley. You are essentially staying at a vineyard! They have a lovely pool for relaxing. The rooms are quaint and spacious, and the facility itself has a lot of character. Breakfast was scrumptious with a lot of variety. Highly recommend!
My only feedback to the hotel is to ensure staff offer the complementary wine bottle upon check-in as we had to ask a couple of times for this & received it at the end of our stay…. otherwise, no issues...
"Room was very clean, Bed was comfortable and have great view of the river and city. Hotel is outdated and needs a more Modern makeover. Well located and free parking.
Breakfast was a different story. Very basic breakfast with not a lot to choose from. Set your expectations very low on the breakfast."
"Les installations sont tout simplement idéales. Site enchanteur, vu magnifique et ambiance reposante. On se sent littéralement en vacances dans un grand hôtel. Bravo!!"
"Magnifique réalisation architectural….
Emplacement exceptionnel….
Piscine incroyable….
Malheureusement aucun service client
À ce niveau de prix c’est vraiment triste …
Cette établissement merite qu’un professionnel le prenne en main car l’emplacement est unique"
"The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but the amenities of the hotel were what sold us, however the sauna and hot tub were not available, nor were options to look at any of the farm to table process that the website mentions. Room temperature is controlled by staff and our room was HOT! We had asked that it be set cooler but that did not happen so it was hard to get to sleep. With all of that said, the pool area was lovely! The breakfast was incredible and the staff are very lovely."
