"The interior of the property is beautiful and the cleaner came to clean the room every day. The communal areas were also very clean and breakfast options were generous.The pool was well maintained. All the staff we encountered were super friendly. But the staff at breakfast need to be more proactive at clearing the tables or you need to provide an area to move dirty crockery to so clients can clear their own - and this is why I marked cleanliness and staff down a star because tables weren't...

"Nothing unique and a few shortcomings, but a most enjoyable stay. Good pool and poolside area. Shame there was no nice bar to enjoy anv evening drink/nightcap. But all good and would say book it"

"The hotel has great staff and it’s a very well run hotel. The rooms are comfortable and very clean . I would say my only criticism would be the breakfast eggs and bacon and beans were all cold . The breakfast looks great and there is everything you could want ."

"This was my second stay at Hotel Mar Blau. If your looking for a no frills, great value stay in a fantastic location then you will love this hotel. Right on the beach, very friendly staff and situated in the old town with easy access to both beaches, tapas alley etc.. Took me about 30 mins to walk to the lively brit bar end, but there is a taxi rank a min walk from hotel if needed. For the price, if you don't need a pool etc, then you really can't beat this hotel..... Excellent!!!"

"Amazing place, perfect location, few minutes from the beach, just next to the cathedral (cathedral view from the balcony), lots of restaurant just around the corner (but wasnt loud at night). The room was beautiful, big, very clean, new, very confortable bed, great big bathroom, fridge, etc. We were able to leave our luggage before check-in with a nice lady. And the whole place smells really nice..."
