"It's an older hotel but we loved this about it. The staff where incredible. So nice and helpful. The Breakfast was a real treat in the morning. Only drawback not really walkable if you have any medical limitations."
"Fuyez pauvres fous, pour une chambre simple c’est terrible, j’avais à peine de la place dans le lit Les meubles sont usés, la literie est usée, les serviettes sont grises d’usures. La douche est minuscule, impossible de se pencher. Les déjeuners ordinaires. Mais la vue est magnifique alors à vous de décider. Personnel très pros par contre. Ah oui la piscine est sans intérêt. "The hotel is in a central location, so it is very noisy, which is expected. The rooms are quite small, with dated decor and in need of some maintenance, especially considering the price. The shower is tiny.
We had an issue with the air-conditioning, but the owner personally came and resolved it, which we appreciated. The view from our room was lovely, although we couldn’t keep the door open due to the traffic noise.
The staff were lovely and helpful, breakfast was good, and the Wi-Fi worked...
"This hotel is severely outdated, poorly maintained, and nowhere near the standard it advertises. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious the property has been neglected for years. The furniture is worn out, the mattresses are completely shot, and you can literally feel the springs digging into your back. Getting a decent night's sleep is nearly impossible. The bathroom was unacceptable. The shower barely drained, and because there wasn't even a shower door, water flooded the entire bathroom...
"The hotel is tired and could use some major upkeep and renovations. Original room we got had no windows Upgrade for two nights was good however n ct room was again small and no outside view
The breakfast buffet was good and view there was best in hotel."
"Joan’s B&B is very nice. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The property itself is close to the main road, so once you are up the hill from the parking lot you are there. Breakfast was pleasant with good selections. If staying the night in Taormina, it’s a perfect place to stay for the night."
"Just a short walk to the beach, this lovely property offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with bright colors and a chic design. For your next visit, you might want to consider providing more teabags, as not everyone prefers coffee. Additionally, the breakfast options are quite limited and aren't served as a buffet, so offering a wider selection could be a great idea, especially for longer stays."
"The hotel, specifically our area, smelled like sewer emanate. The hotel was aware because there were air freshener sticks EVERYWHERE. The photos of the room were greatly misleading. Split screen was prepared to give the room appearance of double size. Conflicting information at every turn. Maybe that was a language barrier. Nicely located though. Breakfast was required to order the night prior. Ok. Lots of extras at the buffet table made wrong choices at ordering correctable."
