"Good price for a simple room. Actually no staff. You use a pin number to enter the hotel and your room. Expedia was to send us the pin and room number, but didn't. Had to call (international call for me) to get the hotel to send me the pin and room number by text. But for the price, it was a good room and great part of the city to stay and walk around to many local restaurants and bars. "

"The hotel is beautiful and situated in a lovely place for walking. It was also possible to walk down to the fjord. Transport via bus was excellent from nearby the hotel into Stavanger centre which was good as there are not many dining or local shopping opportunities in the area. "We really looked forward to staying here but our stay was absolutely ruined by smokers next door. We paid extra for a harbour view which was lovely but we could not open the window or sit on the shared balcony because our room was next to a smoking room and the guests there exercised their right to smoke. When we mentioned this in the morning the customer service was appalling with the receptionist shrugging her shoulders and asking what she could do. Well; for one thing not have a smoking room...
