"This is a bare-bones venue. Don’t go in expecting too much and you won’t leave disappointed.
Bed was comfy but the room was small and not very well laid out. The toilet/shower wasn’t maintained well and there was clear evidence of rust.
I mainly booked it as I needed a spot to sleep while visiting Newcastle for a family gathering.
Staff were friendly and professional.
There was a breakfast buffet but I didn’t utilise it. The dining area was full of families staying overnight who seemed to...
"Dreadful experience trying to check in. AVOID unless the effort is worth it for an extended stay, pointless for O/N. No road signage to find it. It's a room(clean and spacious) not even an apartment...I use Expedia because I usually check in easily; it's all paid for. This hotel required to download their app, upload your credit card details which were zoned out 3 times and photo ID and hope the phone signal good to get codes. Someone in the car park finally found their phone number for us and...
"Room is pleasingly decorated and newly renovated. Balcony with a view to the bay over the driveway/road. Staff easy to communicate with, location was great with easy access to the Esplanade and the coffee out front was perfect. A couple of drawbacks for us were the pillow top (saggy) mattress was very uncomfortable and the balcony had rubbish (smokers left over ashtray - yuck)."
"The accommodation was easy to find and accessing the room simple, thanks to fancy technology. The room was clean, quiet and well maintained, and conveniently located next to a Coles. My only disappointment was expecting a coffee machine, as shown in the online photos, but overall a very comfortable stay which I would recommend to others."
"The room was spacious and clean. Had good amenities- microwave, kettle, coffee and tea . The bathroom was a good size and clean. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Would come back again!"
"Very quick check in. Room was large and very clean throughout. Facilities all in place and very nice thick towels in the bathroom. Beds were super comfy as were the pillows. The restaurant Blue Lunar is a stand out. Will definitely book there again if ever we need to be in Gosford, NSW. 10 out of 10!!!"
