"The Meadowbrook feels like it’s isolated but surprisingly it’s only steps from downtown! If you drive the other way you are on a central road to the rest of the area. The rooms are large, fresh and lovingly renovated (bathrooms not so much but perfectly adequate). The complimentary breakfast was homemade and delicious with an excellent variety of choices - really surpassed expectations. The only negative was that our AC (Room 304) was intermittently noisy - luckily I travel with noise cancelling...

"It was a very pleasant stay and with parking just outside your room and all on the first floor -- it marries convenience with a Luxe version hotel like you were staying in a fancy Big Sur resort: the rooms have fire places, and balconies which look out onto a forested area behind the hotel. It is also very quiet even though it is relatively close to a highway. Staff are attentive and helpful. "Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!"

The only negative was that our AC (Room 304) was intermittently noisy - luckily I travel with noise cancelling ear pods. We were in the corner room and not sure if all rooms had this issue. Good value for our stay. "
