"Lovely old building full of character. Room was spacious, comfortable and presented in a way becoming the age of the proprerty. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and it was OK, nothing special though Staff were all friendly and helpful I would stay there again"

"Lovely quirky old hotel but bathroom layout poor, could do with removing bath and putting a shower only, it would be much safer. Reception lady at 2pm was very abrupt and just said “check in not till 3” we only wanted to let her know we had parked in the patrons only car park. Breakfast staff and checking out lady, lovely."

"After a long drive over night climbing a mountain for sun rise and driving down to the hotel on no sleep we slept like logs. Very comfortable accommodation, a little bit of traffic noise but nothing major. Very clean and helpful staff "

"My daughter and I booked this B&B on a whim, part of a girlie road trip. The stay was perfect. The bed was amazing, the facilities were just as good as being at home. Hot shower, lots of breakfast options included and fresh everything. Wasn't prepared for the lack of specific parking but plenty nearby. Tom was a great host and we would stay again in a heartbeat. many thank and best wishes to you and long may the collection of hats on the walls grow :-)"

"My stay was very good and the hostesses Steph and Erin were super friendly and helpful. From help with pre-ordering breakfast the day before to getting our room instructions. The place was gorgeous and very clean. A very easy place to chill down and rewind. The only thing I would advise for improvement is to remove that staircase window in the twin bedroom as it lets light come in to the room at night even with the curtain closed. Also maybe tint it with privacy film."

"Such a shame this is a tale of two halves. Staff all lovely, helpful and go out of their way to help you. The problem is in the cleanliness and upkeep of the premises and rooms inside and out. A lot of money has been spent on the rooms but not cleaned properly and why have a posh coffee water heater for beverages in room which you cant fill up under the tap??? Toilet stained and bed cover split windows cobwebs and thick dust. The back outside area with a large covered seating canopy looking onto...
