"Our room was extremely cold for the first two days we were there at the end of October 2026. No heat at all. On the third day, we requested to change room and there was a room available and was lees exposed to elements like no north exposure. We were told that at the Fortezza, the heat is not on before November 1. We talked to other tourist when we took an excursion to Venice and their hotel room in other hotels in Florence were warm. The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice but...

"The Hotel David was the perfect place to stay for my wife and my 2-night visit to Florence. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it is a beautiful hotel. We enjoyed the both the breakfast and the happy hour, and I loved that you could grab a snack or a drink from the common area whenever you wanted. The location is terrific if you are like us and prefer to be a little way away from large crowds, yet within easy walking distance to the main sites. We will definitely stay here again...

"The hotel is within walking distance of Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) Station, making it very convenient to reach. Our room was lovely, decorated mainly in red, and we enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay. Breakfast was included and offered a nice selection of cheese, ham, fresh fruit, and other items. The croissants were especially delicious! The location is excellent for sightseeing. It was very convenient to return to the hotel during the day to drop off our shopping bags or take a...

"Room was top notch and for breakfast to be thrown in with the price was excellent value for money, highly recommend"

"I only stayed 1 night as my flight was at 6:30 the next morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful for my check in and held my luggage while I spent my last day in Florence. I was waiting for my taxi at 4am and the breakfast was getting baked and I was able to have a quick cappuccino and pain au chocolat. Clean, quiet and well priced. Thank you for the great but brief stay!"
