"The only reason I gave the staff 3 stars was because one staff member was excellent and that was Fabio the staff member who was just ok was Elena. Fabio went above and beyond to answer our questions and get us what we needed. Elena seemed inexperienced and did not go out her way to help us. She simply answered “I think so” or “I don’t know “ I even had to ask her to look something up for us because she was just going to say she didn’t know and that was it. It also could have something to do with...
"I can’t enough recommend this hotel. One of the best hotels I have ever been to. Great communication from the staff. Always ready to help you with anything you need. They helped arrange a private transfer from naples airport to the hotel. The driver was very elegant and well dressed.
The hotel itself has a great location right at the center of amalfi close to everything you need.
The facility is renovated, has an elevator, terrace and a garden.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, they...
"The location is excellent, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which was incredibly convenient. They also have a garage available for parking cars, scooters, or Vespas.
The staff were amazing—so welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We also loved the beautiful views, especially the charming lemon trees they grow on the property. 😍🍋
The hotel also has a restaurant, which we visited once during our stay. You don’t have to be a hotel guest to dine there—you can simply...
"The room is very small not enough space to out your luggage, no boiler or coffee and tee amenities. The bed was uncomfortable at all and the beds sheets has stains on them and smell bad.
The water power in the shower is as weak as hell, it’s impossible to wash your hair.
Yes it has view on the duomo but it’s too noisy.
The breakfast is very poor, just one sort of cheese one sort of bread, and just salami, the juice is bot fresh. Just the croissant and the coffee were delicious.
The staff...
"Overall room and shower was tiny. But great views if you don’t mind the lack of elbow room. Our room did get hot during the sunny days but thankfully the staff left a key card in the outlet for the power to remain on so the air conditioning could continue to cool down the room while we were away. Staff was helpful in providing travel recommendations to Naples airport."
"To access property you must walk up 51 stone steps with your luggage. Breakfast is up an additional flight. Staff is hard to find for questions or help. For an overnight stay...maybe but it would not be top of my list."
"Hotel is new and fresh, very neat, located right on the beach with private access. balcony overlooking the beach and view is beautiful. buffet breakfast was good with decent options ( part of the package). We arrived past midnight and Giovanni & Andrea were great host. Picked up some negative comments on the air-conditioning in the room, it takes a bit of time to get the affect, Hotel management could definitely improve this. Overall a very good stay and wod luv to come back"
"We stayed for two nights and we liked several things. We arrived around 10 AM, before the 2 PM check-in, and the owner kindly kept our luggage and called when the room was ready around noon. The room was comfortable, everything worked, housekeeping was good, and staff arranged a porter to the bus stop at checkout. The other staff were also polite and helpful.
Unfortunately, our experience was affected by interactions with the owner.
When we left our luggage, my wife asked whether it was safe...
"We stayed in the family room which was excellent. The location is walking distance from the ferry port although you have to climb some steps to get there. The included breakfast was excellent."
"We enjoyed the most wonderful stay at Villa Lara. Not only is the view spectacular, but the staff was wonderful and cared for you like family. Accommodations are safe, clean, and and staff very hospitable. Thank you Anna, Rosa and Nello for making our first time in Amalfi so perfect!"
"Villa Rita was more like a resort than a hotel. We enjoyed the pool and most of the meals. The proximity to the ruins and to the beach were important to us. One complaint: The method of choosing breakfast or dinner was confusing."
