"I stayed at Hotel Sapphire for one night last week, and unfortunately the experience fell below expectations.
The first room had an unpleasant smell and no hot water. We were moved to a better room, but the next morning there was again no hot water, which was particularly disappointing for such a basic hotel service.
Breakfast was fairly average, and many of the staff appeared to be trainees or interns, which may have contributed to the inconsistency in service.

"Terrible. Nothing's works and the entire hotel is not maintained with old rusting features. The hotels rooms are very noisy all the way till 3am as there are on going parties every day. I was not able to sleep till after 4am everyday. Terrible experience. I would not recommend this hotel."

This place is pristine: Room, restaurant, and all other amenites.
All i know is that when in Mombasa, Premium Inn will be my first Choice.

"Fairly decent low budget hotel. It was clean with a decent bar and restaurant. The hot water was only warm and they had wifi connection issues throughout our stay, which was irritating. Staff were helpful and the location is on a busy street but nearby banks and electronics shops."

When we arrived we asked about laundry service, but they would not tell us the price. We had to have laundry done and the cost was over $120 for one large load of laundry.
The whole place smelled of sewage and the toilet in our room leaked. The water for the shower was salty, there was no fresh water to shower or wash with.

"The Kaskazi Beach Hotel was closed for renovation however failed to cancel my reservation and charged me $329. I had to purchased another room at Diani Reef Beach Resort from Jul 17-21, 2026.
Expedia, please refund my credit card in the amount of $329, and remove Kaskazi Beach Resort from the Expedia website. The Kaskazi Beach Hotel is extremely unprofessional."

"The location is right at the beach, beautiful gardens and from the room’s balcony you have a fantastic view of the ocean and coconut trees. The staff are amazing, professional, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and well prepared. However, this place has poor maintenance. Rooms are moldy and smell stuffy with a dirty seat, the beddings are not very clean and the mosquito nets have blood stains (from squishing the mosquitoes) bathrooms are rusty.
