"I will definitely be returning to this hotel, it is marked as a 3 star, but honestly you will feel as though you’re in a 4 star hotel. Amazing facilities, staff are amazing (I cannot fault anyone, so thank you all - especially the 2 gents in the evenings, they were super helpful and friendly, I sadly didn’t get their names but they were working on Tues&Wed night this week). "The Hotel Splendid is in a very nice area in Lapad. The grounds are very well maintained and have beautiful views of the bay. The bus stop to Dubrovnik old town is just across the street and bus #4 runs every 15/20 minutes. The breakfast was plentiful. The room we stayed on the first floor was very small. It is a quick walk from the Promenade with several restaurants to choose from.When we come back to Dubrovnik we most likely will stay there again. We might pick a better room option. "

Bar next to us can be load until 2 pm but close the windows and you should be fine. Only 2 min walking from the BEST night club The Revelin” in a castle insane and gorgeous! "Great location - right in the middle of old town. The "front desk" was a little strange in that it was in the Tezoro restaurant. In fact that whole section of the street is Tezoro. But other than that all was good except we didn't have the TV remote - so no TV. But that really didn't matter because there is so much to do and see in Dubrovnik. "

"Nikolina was a great host… Let us check in early,provided map and great tips and suggestions for sightseeing and dining options. The location couldn’t be better,2 min walk from Stradun and the waterfront and most important very few steps to the property. She also arranged R/T transfer from the airport with her husband Luca. "The location of the hotel is excellent just steps from the beach in Lapad. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful and knowledgeable. On September 22, 2023, which was our first night, the front desk clerk, for which we can’t remember her name, was exceptional and went out of her way to help us. It was her last day and last hour working as she was going back to university. She helped us get an Uber ride to take us to the marina. She was truly lovely and kind up to the last minute she worked. This is very telling of what a wonderful character she has. We spent two separate nights here a week apart. The first night we had a hotel room that was smaller and the bathroom was teensy tiny. The second night we spent there a week later, we had a much bigger room and a much bigger bathroom. Both had balconies with great views."
