No water glass, no shampoo or conditioner. Just really basic. There is a fridge but it was turned off on arrival and take several hours to cool. "This is a fine hotel for the price with a good, well-appointed room inc unusual toilet radio. The staff were superb: manager Marko was most helpful all the time and the chef made a delicious veggie meal off menu just for me! Amazing. Big drawback is its remote location, about 1k from the station; no taxis on Langeoog, so it's a long way to hike your bag."

"Schönes, inhabergeführtes Hotel mit zusätzlichem Ferienhaus im zur Gemeinde Krummhörn gehörenden Dorf Uttum. Eine Landstraße führt am Anwesen vorbei, wir haben es aber dennoch als ruhig empfunden. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten direkt auf dem Grundstück. Freundliche Gastgeber. Im Dorf selbst gibt es keine Gastronomie oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die größeren Orte Pewsum oder Greetsiel sind mit dem Auto jedoch in 10 bis 15 Minuten erreichbar."

"Zum Jahreswechsel 2017/2018 entschlossen wir uns, auf eine Insel zu flüchten - hierfür ist Langeoog wie geschaffen! Problemlose Anreise durch die tiedenunabhängige (und auch wenig durch Sturm eingeschränkte) Fährverbindung samt Inselbahn, nettes Insel-Flair, schöne Wanderungen am Strand auch bei Schietwetter und gute Shopping-Möglichkeiten. Ein Tipp insbesondere zu Neujahr: unbedingt das Heimatmuseum "Seemannshus" (im Standesamt) besuchen, hier wird man traditionell mit einem "Kurzen" begrüßt...
