"Neat and tidy rooms. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was perfect. Coffee, tea, juice. Bagels, muffins, cereal. The dining room was always busy. Clean bathrooms. Lots of towels. Sidewalks were great for a leisurely morning stroll."

"The bathroom floor was dirty, the tub was not clean, the sofa bed had food crumbs on and under the mattress. For $300.00 a night in late October, I would expect better."

"Great"

"It was a truly delightful stay! I enjoyed the cozy accommodations in this historic house and relaxed over super-fresh, delicious breakfasts that inn-keeper-owner Valerie made to order. Valerie was personable, humorous, and engaging while respectful of my personal space. The great golden fall foliage around the property only added to the beauty of the visit. I will certainly book this B&B again."

Same with toilet paper, and there wasn't...

"Lovely, elegant Inn. Host amazing and great chef! Highly recommend."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the River House. Mark was a great host and he was so accommodating. After noticing we had left behind a sweater he quickly called to let us know and we were able to retrieve it the same day. Thank you Mark!"

"It was the perfect place where the couple or family enjoy their summer holiday. Nancy was so kind and welcomed us in person-! She offered us free kayak boat and safety jackets. The lake was so clean and had well managed beach. I want to come here again-!"

"Well designed and maintained property. We enjoyed the little touches like the automatic nightlights and heater in bathroom. Wish we could have spent more time here but we attended the Deerfield fair. Highly recommended. "

"As described, comfortable and a great location"
