"Fantastic location - right on the beach. Hotel provides beach towels, Umbrellas and sometimes beach chairs (first come first serve). Easy walking distance to other beaches, to the port town and to bus stops. This hotel does not have a pool. Breakfast is simple and good. Front desk staff are very helpful- they have arranged many taxi pick ups for us during our stay. Bathrooms need improving however. "We loved our stay here! Beautiful hotel, amazing location, and very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived well before check-in time, around 10am, and only had to wait 10 minutes for our room to be ready. Walkable to several restaurants, shops, & the beach. Only short drive to Chora. Daily breakfast was also very good & fresh. Highly recommend!"
"The staff (Poppy) was very helpful with tips on getting around Naxos. From the hotel it was a 15 minute walk to the port. Easy to walk to shopping / restaurants. We also enjoyed the pool. Nice breakfast buffet; the ladies did a great job !"

"We recently had a short stay at Summer Shades Hotel. Having read some mixed reviews beforehand, we wanted to share our perspective, as we found the hotel to be a genuinely lovely experience, especially considering the very reasonable price point.
We stayed in a spacious, clean room at the back of the property overlooking the pool. It was beautifully quiet and peaceful (though we can't speak to the noise levels of the front-facing rooms nearer the road).
