"First room allocated was pretty horrid, smelly and broken tap. Bitten to hell by mosquitos and tics in the bed. Moved rooms next day and the room was fine, just why we weren't allocated this on the first night as the hotel was empty. Our driver was allowed to stay there as well, something sadly not allowed in a number of hotels down south. "

"The Hotel is very large in size and the staff were very pleasant and helpful organising a driver to take us out of the area to visit all the places of interest we would not see otherwise. Kurunegela itself is not geared up for tourism and is more your local town. So there is a need to travel out. The Hotel is tired with the decor and carpets needing to be replaced and an overall update required. The restaurant choices are limited and overall the Hotel and the area does not cater for europeans"

"We loved staying here. The owner was incredibly kind and let us return after our check out time to shower. The wifi unfortunately was not working during our stay but the rooms were clean and ready for us when we stayed. The beds were comfy, and having the option of a ceiling fan or an aircon was helpful to keep cool. The location was a little confusing since it was behind in the alley, however, tucked away made it less busy to access. "

" I booked with expedia. my paid with my credit card. when i go they said they do not accept expedia, they ask to pay in property. i was with tel over 2 hrs to resolve this. expedia refund it. but hotel give hard time. even their food / desert not worth what i paid. and security gurd never allow to unload from my vechile front of the entrance. i have to park far place to carry my baggs. the way with sand and mud. its totally un acceptable. i do not recommand this hotel for this price."

"Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone."

Kun tulimme kirjautumaan sisään, jouduimme odottamaan, että huoneeseen kannettiin yksi lisävuode. Meitä oli kolme kaverusta emmekä halunneet nukkua yhdessä parisängyssä, joten asiasta huomautettuamme huoneeseen tuotiin myös toinen parisänky. "Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return."
