"Overall nice place with all the basic stuff in good order. I found the check in process a bit cold and unwelcoming. One of the lights didn’t work but they were on it quick! They have a nice roof top restaurant with good food and cocktails. Their rooms and breakfast was pretty nice as well. Not too found of the busy location. "The staff at Maison Perumel were so helpful and friendly; they really made the stay special..The rooms are very comfortable and the food was exceptional! It is in the Heritage area of Puddichery so about a 15/20 minute walk from White Town and French Quarter but tuktuks are everywhere! I love the CGH ethos and definitely recommend Maison Perumel."

"This was an amazing stay at this hotel. This is a boutique hotel with excellent rooms individually decorated in European style. The hotel itself has a classical french Vintage touch. Grand room allotted to me was was big enough in size. Breakfast is Ala-Carte but it is not a problem who do not want a big buffet type of spread that leads to waste of food items unnecessarily. Beach is walkable and is just 2 - 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Can not give review on food, as I did not take food in the...

"A pleasant enough hotel, slightly away from the main tourist area but still walkable. Average size room and small bathroom, generally clean. AC worked well, had some issues with Wifi, where it was working in the room and then not, told I could get it in reception area. Though later reception was again available in the room. Breakfast served in the room, a standard no choice tray which was okay! On the same road as the hotel were plenty of resturants and further afield, the main tourist area....

"Straightforward accommodation - no real sparkle, but nothing really negative either. Comfy bed, clean room, nice staff, lovely neighbourhood. Public areas need some maintenance"

"Staff couldn't be more helpful, even an upgrade to ensure we had a double bed as opposed to 2 singles pushed together. The Hotel is tired windows dont close, therefore the traffic noise was too loud to sleep and constantly being woken up by car horns beeping from 4 in the morning "

One minor issue is that part of the hotel is under construction, leading to noise pollution during day hours. Otherwise excellent hotel.
