"Breakfast was okay, the room was okay however the floor was dirty. The air conditioning in the room was very loud;.."

"I had hopes that this “resort” would be good. Sadly, the room I was given (for disabled) wasn’t finished being cleaned. The bed was stripped of bedding. The 2 ladies at the front desk scrambled to get the bed made. (We appreciated that!) Then they gave us a clean room. It was handicapped and happily accepted it. The room was available for the next night but I chose to stay in the regular room. The staff said we would get a discount due to the inconvenience. We were not given any discount....

"Although a most fabulous location, this is well past it's prime and could use some TLC."

"The room was very clean and cozy. We stay here at least 3 times a year. Always clean."

"Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely would recommend staying here!"

"I went for a weekend for a family Memorial. This cottage was perfect for myself and my young son. I loved the cozy cottage feeling and the perks of wifi and the smart tvs. Location was perfect! It was on the main strip of Houghton Lake. The property manager was perfect at my check in and with any questions I had. Im diffently going to use this place again."

"Enjoyed our stay. Highly reccomended."

"We like it really well, but would have been better if it had air conditioning. Other wise everything was good. "

"Beautiful cabin! Five of us stayed and there was plenty of room for everyone. Loved the nice cozy indoor fire, was perfect on the chilly evenings. The cabin came stocked with dishes and towels to use. Plus cleaning supplies like dish soap and laundry pods to use for anything you dirtied while there. There were a good selection of dvd movies to watch and WiFi to use in case your phone service is spotty like ours. Overall great trip and would definitely recommend to others if they want to stay in...
