"Es un hotel antiguo con mucho carácter. Tiene parqueo , a 10 min a pie del centro de Taormina, desayuno delicioso y variado, personal amable.
Si le molesta el ruido el fin de semana puede ser bullicioso en la noche pues hay un bar o disco cerca con música alta hasta altas horas de la noche... nada que un par de tapones de oído no solucionen."
"Mixed review as the location of the hotel is excellent with the beach nearby and beautiful views of Isola Bella. The swimming pool was also nice and very much appreciated. However the hotel is very dated and in dire need of upgrades in many areas. Lowest quality beds, sheets, and pillows. Tiny showet and thin, rough, bath towels, etc.
Some of the the daytime staff were very helpful and friendly, however the night manager was rude and unhelpful
Only recommended if you want a low budget hotel...
"My wife and I stayed at Hotel La Pensione Svizzera during our honeymoon in Sicily, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end!
First and foremost, the hospitality here was exceptional. Every single staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was answering our questions, helping us arrange transportation from the airport, or simply making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay, the entire team consistently...
"Hotel Condor front desk staff were just amazing (two ladies) who went above and beyond arranging tours and providing very helpful information. The location was great and all of the amenities including a tasty daily breakfast served by lovely ladies on the rooftop. The location was perfect with many attractions and dinner options close by within walking distance. Would highly recommend."
"Property apparently suffered damage during Cyclone Harry in Early 2026. Sad to discover, however, other properties in the area have rebuilt, this one hasn't. It's run like a family bed and breakfast, "Without the Breakfast". The family lives in the hotel and it was a little creepy. When I asked about dinner in the restaurant I was told that the restaurant was not open anymore. When I enquired about the "Included Breakfast" I was told that they don't serve breakfast any more. When texting...
"Having travelled with my wife all around the world - staying sometimes in some great places and other times …not so great, our choice of Hotel Donna Rosa was on the great side! It is a small hotel in a small town but the staff and owner of the hotel make you feel important at all times. No question asked was considered trivial and was always answered to make sure you were satisfied. The location is ideal - a short walk to the sea and street parking was always available. There are good...
"Excellent location in Taormina at the start of Corso Umberto. Easy walking distance to all the sights in Taormina. Great sized room and really friendly staff.
They provided an amazing breakfast in a room that had a beautiful view, absolute perfection. Would recommend this accommodation and it's a very reasonable price for Taormina."
"Lovely friendly hotel right in the centre of town. Staff lovely & rooms clean. Nice breakfast. Has a small pool on the roof also with a small bar up there also. Would highly reccomend staying here as its right in the centre of town."
"We had the best dinner of our whole trip at the borgo, and for a very reasonable price!
But an important negative point of the accomodation is that it is right next to the highway between Catania and Messina, with traffic noise day and night."
