"The hotel was fine. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, but for some weird reason the last day and a half we were there. There was a cart with a bunch of tools right out in front of our door. The elevator was really kind of scary it made a lot of noise and the breakfast was lacking. The staff were very kind."

"Not really the sit down restaurant I was anticipating but lots of eateries in walking distance."

"This hotel is dated but it was clean. However, they did not clean our room and did not have towels when we requested towels. They had to go next door to get towels from the Residence Inn. Also, the bistro never appeared to be open."

"Booked two rooms, very clean but one smelled a bit musty. Location was good for all the activities we had planned but train sounds like it’s in your room at 3am! Staff was personable & helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. Would definitely recommend!"

"Beautiful hotel, inside and out! Great breakfast with several choices of food and beverages. Very roomy lobby, plenty of comfy seating. Fitness and pool areas. I was in room 212 and it was super convenient and comfortable. Accessible shower with seat. Room has microwave and small fridge. Two large TVs, one in seating area and one in front of bed. Temperature worked very well. Very nice hotel staff."

"Rooms were clean, staff was helpful, breakfast was convenient and good."

The manager was called and took absolutely no action, just saying maintenance could not be called in until morning. I felt a more proactive approach should have been taken. "We love Carter’s Plantation!! It’s a very nice place to stay if you are wanting to stay in Springfield."

"The house was clean and was adequate for my visit to BR. Check-in was effortless. Minor discrepancies included no trash can liner, towels were not located near owners suite (had to search for them). Overall everything was great!"
