"The low rating was the result of being given a handicap room that made showering and using the bathroom very challenging. We are not allowed to park in a handicap spot. There should be laws to prevent hotels to use these rooms allocated to those who truly need them. I urge Expedia to take this issue seriously and reflect that in their terms of business. At a minimum we should be warned in advance and know what we are getting. We immediately requested the change and the receptionist refused to...
"They did not communicate that check in closed at 6pm or what to do if you were arriving after this time. Loud noises from waterpipes. Facilities were decent though"
"Nice big room in beautiful old mansion, with great service from the owner, especially his well-stocked bar! Location is great for visiting nearby sites, and close to groceries, restaurants, and other amenities. Oh, and a very comfortable bed, with Nespresso machine in the room. We were very happy with our stay!"
On reviendra."
"Overall a nice stay in what I would say is quite a rural area. The staff were really polite and helpful. The only things that I would say would improve a stay at this hotel is a couple of easy wins such a tea/ coffee facilities in the room and a welcome pack explaining check ins/outs, places to eat etc as we soon found out lots of places close in certain days or didn’t serve food for very long (I imagine this is a seasonal thing). This became quite a problem for us as we didn’t want to eat the...
