"This is a basic motel. It is clean and was comfortable. Breakfast was offered but did not have options at all for dietary intolerances or allergies. Though the notice said that staff speak English, the receptionist had to get a colleague to deal with my request for a refund for breakfast. This made for discomfort, though the refund was given. "

It was very bijou but had everything we needed for a short stay: comfortable bed, a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, a clean bathroom. We were only staying to do a quick sightseeing of the area before moving on, so we didn't need much!"

"This is a quiet chateau with simple gardens. It has rooms in the Chatteau and the Orangery. We stayed in the Orangery. The room was a fair size and quite well appointed. The bathroom had been renovated to a good modern standard. The place was efficiently run. We had an excellent meal in the 109 restaurant in the cellar. Great space and great service. Overall this was a good stopover for us. "

"A good central location with parking and friendly staff. Two reservations. First the double room was very small indeed, with no a/c and the conversion had left low ceilings and small windows. We were much too hot. Second the breakfast was only adequate. We weren’t late, but there was very little cooked food left, little fruit (which was over ripe) and nobody around to ask for more or to top up the platters. "Travelled to Cambrai for the first time and solo. Really delighted with the hotel - incredible value for money. Comfortable, clean, close to the rail station and close to the main square where all the shops, cafes and restaurants are. Staff were welcoming and helpful although it does help if you can speak a bit of French as only one person speaks fluent English. Very helpful in helping to organise a bit of additional travel for me and ensure it all went well. Hotel felt safe for a woman...
