The staff , from porters to management were helpful friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The room was spacious and well kept. "I overnight in this (ELMARK HOTEL MELAKA) for 2 nights. The second night was a nightmare to me. I'm so disappointed due to the electrical door lock spoilt, and i can't acess it. I have to wait more than 12 hours and there is no proper arrangements for me (my belongings are inside my room). The hotel staff told me about the master key with the hotel owner, and he is in another state now. I called the hotel owner, he didn't fix the issue on the spot..He asked me to wait him for another day to open...

"The hotel has a nice rooftop pool with a bar. It is located in a quiet part of Melaka but there are many place to eat nearby and a shopping centre. You can easily walk to the historical centre and the river (around 15 minutes)"

Do note that if your room faces the jonker street, it might get noisy when there is night market and performance that might last till close to midnight. "
