"This hotel is tired. It seems like current management is trying to bring it back but there’s a long way to go. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. But my room was very dark and had only one lamp. Bath is antiquated but everything worked. The breakfast buffet was better than expected- eggs and sausage in addition to the usual cold items. Carpets in certain areas were in need of cleaning. Indoor pool looked to be in good shape. I had lunch at the restaurant and it was meh."

"Way too hot in the hotel (81 degrees on the thermostat in the breakfast room). Staff walking around barefoot, room not well cleaned (hair in the corners on bathroom floor upon arrival, dirty looking tub, missed some obvious things when vacuuming). Smelled damp through the place and kinda mildew in the room. Loud a/c. People drinking and talking loud at 10:30pm right outside - then left a pile of empty beer cans inside the hotel door. "Not that it was a bad issue but the pool was being remodeled and was closed. So my wife decided to use the jet tub in the king suite. The jets did not work and black flaky stuff came out of the tubes. Overall it was a great stay and the staff was great. I cannot remember her name, but she was the hostess/waitress in the restaurant for breakfast and she was great! Very kind and helpful! Appreciated that very much."
