"The location of the hotel is very good for us , but the door key didn’t work , we needed to go down to reception every day to get it re activated , which was annoying because we had already gone upstairs. The internet was not working until we got a code from reception although we registered our name and room number several times and that only worked for one day . Otherwise everything else was fine . The room was clean , the breakfast was nice ."

"The room was old world 1900s with a deep tub but it was to short for me but there was never ending hot water. The restaurant had an excellent octopus soup. The breakfadt could hsve been better if they kept it in warmers. The eggs were cold but the fruit and fresh juices were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. On Sunday’s the vendors bring out tables to expose their wares while the locals parade around in their sunday best It was quite delightful. I would definitely stay there...

Staff is also amazing here - they are not only very helpful but so kind - my mom has dietary/health restrictions so she wanted to heat up her own food and they were so accommodating. It was very appreciated! The breakfast here is also amazing so highly recommend :) "

"We found the management of the hotel to be wonderful, friendly and very helpful on giving us guidance of where to eat and shop. They even went to the trouble to ring some of the business to assist us. The hotel is so close to the station and is about 25 min to Florence. The rooms are very comfortable warm and breakfast is a treat. Can’t recommend it highly enough, we loved 4 days here. "

"Stayed in the the Junior suit with a balcony and beautiful view. The staff is so friendly and helpful like a big family! Typical Italian rustic style but very charming hotel. Lucca only about 8 minutes away by car. Will come back again! Breakfasts are the same every day which is a bit boring . We would like to have more options like a fruit salad / soft fruit and tomatoes and eggs to choose from. Other than that - lovely place to stay. Thank you all for looking after us . "The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."
