"Old school charm"

"My room was not cleaned promptly. The desk had crumbs, the directory binder was sticky & greasy, and I discovered on my last day that the coffee cups next to the coffee machine was a ready used. The property was quiet, and the breakfast was good though. The in-room microwave & refrigerator was a plus though. "

"Coffee shop was supposed to open at 7 am on Sundays and when asked for a coffee at 7:15 am to the employee said that we have to wait 15 minutes to order it."

"This was my first time staying at Old Farms Inn. I'd attended wedding receptions, dinners, and lunches at the restaurants but hadn't stayed on the property. We liked our king bed room. It was spacious and had plenty of room for me, my wife, and our 16 month old. My one knock is that the bed and television were not aligned. It was like having bad seats at a sporting event. The polls on the bed blocked part of the screen because the television was too far to the left. The bathroom was also...

"Great location, near the center of town. Staff was helpful & accommodating. We even received an upgrade when we checked in. While there, they were servicing the fire alarm system, but it was during the day (very noisy). The Hetitage is an aging property (been there since the 70s I think). Some of the furniture is worn. "Quiet town so there is not much to do at night and everything closes really early but the hotel was amazing and very relaxing. Indoor pool, half court outdoor basketball court, gym, free breakfast, clean room and comfortable beds. The little connivence shop next to the front desk came in handy too. There is no safe in the room though which was surprising. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay! "

That said, this is an old property, with worn out rugs in halls, threadbare bedding and towels (mine had tears and holes), but nonetheless clean, and nearly arranged. The hotel is off a main highway, but local food choices did not work and what they had available was limited."
