"Reasonable location, about 20 minutes walk uphill from Amalfi ferry, but don't do it with luggage as the road is narrow in parts and busy with traffic! Great view from our room and the air conditioning was a life-saver. We didn't know, but they can help you with transfers from the ferry and to/from the aiport. Would have been good to know that before we paid 30EUR for a 4-minute tuk-tuk ride up the hill when we arrived, and we had also booked the bus to the airport before we got there. You can't...

"The staff I met were friendly and the room was always well cleaned every day. The bathroom was a little bit worn and the shower door didn't always completely close, but those were minor points. The hotel was a fairly short walk to the town centre and there were plenty of restaurants in the immediate area, also."

"I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, the staff are very helpful and friendly and they have a beautiful vegetable garden where they pick the vegetables that they cook in the restaurant. What a wonderful place!"

We arrived at Positano from Naples by Ferry, gorgeous picture postcard view of Positano made us first wonder if we made the right decision to stay further away. If you don’t have lot of luggage you can take the bus, for the SITA bus (govt) you can buy online tickets and costs 3.50 euros, a 10 min taxi will cost you (hold your breath) $60-$70 euros.
