"This is a classic Italian hotel. 24-hour front desk (that holds your room key), nice lobby, large well-appointed room with a really nice bathroom, great breakfast buffet on the top floor (with a rooftop terrace). Short walk to the central train station (and then a short train ride to the airport). Dozens of excellent Sardinian restaurants within a few blocks. A similar hotel would cost five times as much in NYC!"

"Stayed for a night to catch an early flight. The front desk person was very nice and helpful, she even reserved the restaurant for us. The restaurant is located inside the hotel, so if you don’t want to deal with Cagliari traffic and poor parking, it’s a solution. Overall clean room, no view but we didn’t care. Would definitely go back. "

It seems the hotel is slowly improving its rooms but we unfortuately had a hill view room which was disgusting.It should not be given out to paying guests. Mouldy bathroom,loose wires from extractor fan,lingering smokers smell(smoke alarm covered by a shower cap!) and soiled sheets. "The stay at Xenia was great. Very clean room, comfortable bed and possibility to have super warm water in the shower. Breakfast was a buffet but because of covid there was no self service. The staff was very nice, they gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Single tip - it’s hard to find this hotel, it would be worthwhile to fix the address. "

"The beach resort is a step up from glamping, nice layout very well maintained gardens, pool is really fabulous and you can walk to the beach we’re you have access to a sunshade umbrella and beach beds. "This stay was made by Antonio, who in spite of our non existent Italian provided all of the information we needed for an amazing visit to Villasimius! Hotel is in a central but quiet location with immaculate accommodations, a lovely terrace, amazing welcome from Antonio and Barbara, and excellent recommendations for hiking! We booked a second night thanks to Antonio who even drove us to the start of another beautiful beach hike! Couldn’t ask for a better or kinder host. Thanks again Antonio!"
