"Booked a family trip from Winnipeg to stay at this hotel for the water slides. When we checked in we were told that the water slides were not working but that they would be working at 4pm the following day. We only booked one night and this wouldn’t work for us. Parts of the water park were working but kids got bored quick. Disappointed as this was the reasons for our trip. We would of cancelled if we would have known with the price of gas and the Canadian dollar."
"Stayed here while visiting our Daughter at UND. First impressions from parking lot were not great it looked a bit dumpy but I was pleasantly surprised.
Hotel was clean and for the most part quiet.
My fan didn’t run as I wanted it to in the room.
I was getting ready the next morning to have a hotel worker knocking on doors at 9am (he couldn’t speak English nor tell me what he needed) but I later realized they were checking to see if guests were gone so they could clean. I didn’t appreciate this...
"The main floor and additional downstairs allowed us to spread out. The kitchen was basic, but allowed us to make a couple of simple meals. I appreciated that the two bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths provided us the space and comfort for our family.
The neighborhood is rather rough and the exterior of the building made me pause when we approached, but the inside showed care and was clean."
"We had a great experience! Plenty of room and comfortable setting! Great communication from owner over last minute room changes. Our daughter is coming to UND so matbe we can stay with you again! "
"I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but our recent stay was disappointing. The room itself looked fine at first, but we found roaches during our stay. We purchased roach killer in hopes we would not bring roaches home.
We should have know something was not right as we were told there was a booking issue and we could not stay in the unit booked.
Then they tried to move us again. I think we should be refunded 100%. "
"A bit run down, the mattress downstairs bedroom is EXTREMELY HARD, uncomfortable! Need more blankets, only gave 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 days, had to go out and buy. Also the patio looks much different than the pics, there was an ashtray of cigarette butts that needed to be emptied. The check out instructions specify to used a designated laundry bag under kitchen sink, there was no bags.
The bathroom sink drains very slow, and if you’re tall ,don’t stay here! The ceiling is very low!
