"Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt! Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der ruhige und entspannte Innenhof mit kleinem Pool und dass man sein Frühstück auf der sonnigen Terrasse genießen konnte. Einziges Manko: die Zimmer sind ziemlich hellhörig. Das hat uns für eine Nacht aber nicht groß gestört."

"The property is off the beaten track and Malgas is only accessible via a gravel road but if you want somewhere to escape and enjoy lovely views this is the place to go. The Boathouse is very well equipped with a spacious shower, all required kitchen utensils and surprisingly good wifi despite the remote location. If you are tall the sloping roof may be a challenge. "Beautiful surroundings, quiet and private. Clean and well furnished, kitchen well done. The locking of the gate at 6 was a surprise to us and it would be nice to mention it or highlight this, phoning to say we are running 30 min late we did not get an option….very stressful on that road. Arriving we realised that the gate was manned and could have been opened for us 😟 The restaurant is very pricy, would be popular if there could be some cheaper family options. "Alida and her husband welcomed us on first arrival and continued to make us welcome throughout our stay. There was a useful welcome pack and everything was as advertised. The shady verandah was wonderful complete with copious birds including cape sugarbirds and sunbirds visiting the feeders. The home made melk tart was delicious and very welcome. A lovely stay we highly recommend. "
