"Our room was excellent, plenty of space and a private balcony. Spotlessly clean, superb jet shower, very impressed. The outlook is across the valley to Medellin Castle - beautiful. Unfortunately we stayed on a Monday and the restaurant was closed. The town is only a short drive, though it was a bit too far, and steep, to walk. Breakfast was excellent and made us a bit sad that we hadn't been able to have an evening meal. Probably a bit isolated if not travelling but if driving would definitely...

"Lovely place at the Embalse Orellana. Comfortable room, clean bathroom. Raquel and Jose are friendly and obliging hosts, they speak english and french so no trouble at all. We definitely enjoyed our stay and as I myself plan to fish the embalses in Extremadura in the near future, this would be the place to stay. "
