There was terrible dampness and damage to the bathroom cupboards, all the cupboards in the room had not been cleaned which was v unpleasant and the aircon also had issues. Also we were told that breakfast was served at 8am however we were only managing to get breakfast at around 8.40 as staff had not arrived yet and the restaurant wasnt even open yet. "The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nixon the lodge manager assisted us in taking our luggage to the room. All of the lodges are connected by a wooden walkway in the bush. The rooms were very nice and recently renovated. There is a great viewing deck where you can view the wild life. We saw 6 giraffes and several impalas the morning we were checking out which was exciting!! I would definitely recommend the Panzi Lodge to others! "

"The manager on duty was in a hurry to go back to to watching his rugby match on arrival. On departure he seemed even more disinterested and could not be bothered to direct me to the restuarant for breakfast. At breakfast found weevils in the cereal. The only redeeming quality of the service at the place was the Bar-keep and the Chef who cooked dinner as well as the cleanliness of the room. "
