"I don't know how this place got the good reviews it's got. Il start with the positives being generous. The sheets were clean, the room was big. That's where my generosity stops. The gentleman "welcoming" us really wasn't a people person. Made it clear he knew about the sticking door to the patio. The door did eventually lock from inside but it was so hard we unlocked it just to make sure we could get out in the morning. The shower was old and mouldy, the clamp to hold the shower head was cracked...
"Communication was very frustrating as despite messaging via Hotels.com (once it had been booked - 3 months before our stay)and then later by a bit of detective work emailing directly. This was just to get details i.e. postcode, info re local places to eat etc, the first communication was at 5.45pm on the day of check in i.e. after the check in time of 2pm. "The host Noreen, greeted us at the front door and showed us to our room on the first floor. The interior was beautiful and decorated very nicely. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was small but adequate. The breakfast provided the next morning was wonderful. We had a full Irish Breakfast. Cereal, yogurt, juice, home made bread & jams were available as well. The site had plenty of parking available for guests on site. I highly recommend the Perrymount B&B."
"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful B&B in the Wicklow Mountains. The setting is absolutely stunning, with incredible views and lovely walks right on the doorstep. Our room was comfortable, beautifully presented and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
The breakfasts were fantastic and a real highlight each morning. We also loved meeting the friendly donkeys, who added a little extra charm to an already special place!

The cottage is on the owner's grounds, but with it's own entrance and all own facilities.
The kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom has a little balcony with an uninterrupted view of the countryside. Books and boardgames are available.
