"I had an ok experience at the hotel. I had an incident where 2 staff members were joking with a dark-skinned Filipino staff member calling him a beluga. I'm married to a Filipina so I understand some Tagalog. And I know that Baluga is a bad name for black or dark-skinned people. My wife confronted the two staff members and told them not to use that language anymore. the staff never apologized to me. But over all the hotel and the people were great. I would stay there again."

"Great modern 1 bedroom apartment. Ample room. Big wardrobe, safety deposit box, the most comfirt bed I've slept on in a long time, good size fridge and freezer. Twin hotplate, frypan and saucepan provided. Unfortunately the cutlery wasnt clean. Dining room table and chairs, good size bathroom with hot water, daily housekeeping, free bottled water and friendly staff"

"Original room I was assigned was in 'old' part of hotel and opened up onto restaurant. For extra £15 or so a night was quickly upgraded to a very nice room overlooking pool. Spacious, modern furniture/decor. Good size pool, with popular bar next to it. Convenience store right next door, and Indian restaurant accross street. Excellent Indian restaurant , Royal, on top floor nearby hotel. You are a short walk from Walking Street and the go go bars, but I was not hearing any noise in my room....

When I confronted the receptionist about the bugs, bugs started crawling on the counter as she casually squashed them and flicked them away as to not have evidence disrupting our wonderful conversation.
