"First off, I want to share that I never write reviews but this just needed to be shared. We booked this place because it had beautiful views and was the last stop of our 2 week Italy Vacation. We were given only a two week heads up that the panoramic restaurant was closed and under restoration (not cool, we paid for this place because of the restaurant views, i’ll get back to the restaurant experience). Our room was decently clean, the shower could’ve used a deep clean. Just a few weird things...
"The staff were very friendly and welcomed us verbally in and out of the hotel creating a calm atmosphere. The cleanliness was exceptional as windowsills and window casements were cleaned regularly. Floors were polished even though there is an inherent dust outside due to the dry environment all around. The air con filters needed a service to clean the filters ro allow air to flow correctly so that cooling was efficient. As I was in the trade guess what was my first priority as the temperature...
"The listing shows beach access, but it's not... you have to walk 500 meters. We went out at night and the gate was closed. Miraculously, another guest explained how to open it. In the morning, I was woken up because my car was blocking another guest's exit, and it wasn't even my car."
"Absolutely nice place to stay; the location on the hillside overlooking the valley is quite something - for dinner and for breakfast; do not forget to book the dinner in advance as there are (several but still) limited places. The place is quite large and the rooms very clean. Everything is kids-friendly and the food was very good - in choice and quality."

"The hotel was clean and well maintained. The grounds were beautiful and kept in prestige conditions. In relation to the food served, it was excellent, fresh and a joy to consume. Saying this, it would have been nice to have been able to order single dishes in the evening as what is provided is a four course meal which is sometimes just too much. A local free bus to San Teodoro 4 times a day is provided however there is literally no taxi service unless you are willing to pay 55EUR for 4km...
"Friendly and welcoming staff that helped with planning our hikes in the area. The restaurant is a must try! I've been to Italy many times but rarely found as great an experience as here. "
