"Comienzo por lo bueno: el hotel es muy cómodo, en un pueblo muy lindo. La relación calidad/precio me parece muy buena. La habitación estaba límpia y era amplia, todo bien. Lo único malo que podría decir, es el desayuno: es un buffet que salvo una o dos cosas (como la fruta) tiene productos de calidad regular, al menos considerando que costaba 10 euros por persona. De todas formas, un muy buen hotel, recomendado, aunque la próxima vez iría a desayunar fuera. "

"The hotel is in a very tranquil, country setting but not far from Bilbao. It is an old house that has been beautifully restored in a rustic manner. The lady, who seemed to do everything, was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with a very modern shower. The evening meal and breakfast were plentiful and good quality. The only negative thing was that there was no lift and the stairs were quite steep."

"Loved the hotel. Full of character, tastefully decorated. The staff were helpful a friendly. Convenient garage right next to the hotel. The hotel was situated right in the heart of the village. Walking round the village was lovely especially by the river."

"Rooms were spacious, nice and clean. The hostess was really nice and she used to make for us one of the best home brewed coffee I ever had. If I will ever go back to visit the area,I will not look for any other options."

"A bit too basic for us. We felt a rug to get out of bed onto would have been an improvement, rather than a tiled floor. The room was warm but small. The emergency lighting fitting was on the wall high up at the foot of the bed, and was aluminated all night bright green, filling the room with green light, annoying in the extreme. Ate in the restaurant which was good."

"Second stay here on our journey back to UK from Portugal. Great place, clean, comfortable and the owner is a gentleman. Local restaurant was closed this time of year, which was a shame as it’s really good food and good value but the owner pointed us to a place about 9 km away and the food was good and dogs were welcome. We will be back during our travels. Thanks"

"It was deep in snow when we arrived and my husband didn’t believe the sat nav so we were lost, we called the hotel and the owner actually got in his car in the snow and came and found us knowing we had an English number plate, well impressed! "After a smooth check-in, I got a spacious modern room with a nicely appointed ensuite that had a good large shower. Overall the hotel had a friendly and helpful atmosphere. It also had a good secure underground carpark (accessable by lift from within the hotel) I arrived about 5pm on a Saturday and the attached restaurant's kitchen was closed so I had to make do with a takeaway but that (as well as a large supermarket) was closeby, about 7min drive. The hotel is located in an industrial estate...
