"We loved our stay. The motel can best be described as “quirky” in the positive sense of the word. It felt very homely and particularly interesting. It was very, very clean and had everything that we needed. The Manager was very welcoming and could not do enough for us. We will certainly return. "

"Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. "

"We only stayed the 1 night but would love to head back and explore. The outdoor areas are vast, great for the kids to run around and absolutely stunning view over the creek from a really comfortable viewing deck which we sat with a beer and watched the sunset. We briefly walked down to the creek and used the properties kayaks which we loved. We had a fire next to the cottage and toasted marshmallows such fun. "Felt really refreshed after staying in the cabin would come back again. You are closer to the neighboring cabin then you think you would be but you can't hear them. "

"Del rio was a nice seclude getaway quiet and piece ful at the time we were there it seemed we were in a renovation stage of the resort some new sections and some old sections being redeveloped it was a good place to go if you want a base to stay so you can explore surrounding countryside "
