"We had an amazing weekend at the Fish and Anchor Inn and highly recommended it to anyone looking for a relaxed and value for money getaway while visiting Stratford or the Cotswolds. As it's an inn we checked in at the bar, then accessed the room via a separate entrance at the rear of the pub. The pub does karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights, and the patrons are very welcoming. Our room, no. 6, was amazingly large and inviting, and we loved the firm bed mattress. As mentioned in the hotel...

"Beautifully presented room, very clean. Couldn't open windows and strangely no mirror in bedroom only over sink in bathroom. Didn't have breakfast but made use of the tea and coffee making facilities."

"This is a lovely and really old property with very interesting features. Unfortunately it is not now used to its full potential but was a comfortable place to stay for a night. We had everything we needed even though one or two places could do with updating. Meals, other than a buffet breakfast, are not provided, so it would be necessary to find somewhere else for an evening."

"My husband loved the cooked breakfast. They were happy to make you something different if the had it. I had mushrooms on toast. Would have liked greek yoghurt and berries. But i am really fussy. Evening mesls in the restaurant were huge. Our room was good, rather hot. Nothing that a fan would deal with. The room had everything we needed. Parking was fine. It was very convenient for the main road, but the road noise was not a problem. Would definitely stay again. "
