"The hotel is classed as 2 star and I guess that's about right, but I stayed in a 4 star the day after my stay at Hotel Blu Aran and immediately wished I could go back. It's honest, clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not provide dinner but the receptionist was wonderful and offered a suggestion in town which was one of the best meals I've ever had. The view from the room was idyllic and I have already planned my return next year"

"I stayed in early June ( out of season in the area) the hotel was in effect closed, no staff there ( just someone who came to check us in ) so no bar or food. No option for breakfast. I think we were to only two staying there. It was a one night stay (thankfully) and in the morning we had no Hot Water, just packed and left as no staff around. I understand owners and staff want holidays in the off season but then they should just have closed the hotel for a few weeks. Only positive point was safe...

"The Diamo is a beautiful hotel with a fabulous view of the valley. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, comfortable and the bathroom was also very clean. Breakfast was excellent, and offered a good choice of cold ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, croissant, toast, jam & butter etc.and the coffee was excellent. "Lovely hotel set in beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff but not good service in the restaurant. We were left for 20 minutes with nothing to drink and no sign of a wine menu. An American family next to us had the same experience. It seemed the Spanish guests were getting preferential treatment. Tea and coffee in the rooms would be nice as well, something other Parador hotels offer."
