"The location was amazing, directly onto Athena stunning East Beach road. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We ordered the Scottish breakfast and it was freshly cooked and delicious.
The room was a bit small with a tiny en-suite."
"Room nothing like the photos. Broken sky light with no blind. Wall paper peeling off. Filthy carpets, stained and very very unpleasant.
Checked out after being there for 1/2 hour and just got " sorry".
I have stayed in some unpleasant places but this was frankly disgusting .
Waste of money, no refund offered"
"Central location. Poor check in from staff, did not explain anything other than providing room key. Allocated ground floor room in annexe building. Old shower doors left outside bedroom window, window very dirty on outside. Excessive noise from occupants in room above at 2pm in the morning. Difficult to identify staff as nobody wore name badges or uniforms. The breakfast service staff were very helpful. Certainly won't be returning."
"Room clean and comfortable,bathroom was shared and was not cleaned daily. Ran out of toilet roll on first night not staff around to ask for more. General upkeep of building was poor and needs updating. Looked like something from a horror movie on arrival and did think about leaving."
"Lovely small and homely hotel .Had a comfortable bed and enjoyed waking up to the view out to sea.The toilet and shower could do with being upgraded but was still clean and acceptable.The staff were excellent and very friendly and the evening meal and breakfast we had was very tasty and well prepared.I would especially recommend the Cullen skink.
We enjoyed a walk along the beach on a lovely evening which we needed after our very delicious and filling evening meal."

"This is a fairly basic one-bedroom apartment well located in Forres Town centre.
It is clean and comfortable, with a spacious lounge area.
There are only tea bags and coffee on arrival and only hand soap provided so make sure to bring provisions and toiletries.
It is good value for what is provided."
