"From the exterior of the building by the car park it doesn’t look like much, step into reception and feel instantly welcome. We stepped into our room was instantly a world away, everywhere was fresh and refurbished in a contemporary design. Quiet and comfortable, the sheep and the birds were the only noisy neighbours but such a beautiful way to wake up. The WiFi is a bit sketchy which also affects the quality of on demand services on the TV, which might annoy you after a long day walking or...

"Stopped at the Keswick Park hotel while walking the Cumbria Way. The staff were great and helped out one of our party who had injured her ankle while walking during the day and were on hand to provide refreshments once we arrived. Sadly the restaurant was not serving during our stay, however recommendations were given for nearby options which proved to be excellent."

"I liked the location best. It is easy to access and centrally located in town; very walkable. The staff is very attentive and willing to help. Breakfast and other food options are excellent. Parking is not on-site and closest is a paid lot one hundred meters from the inn. Our room was directly above the street and entrance to the inn, so it was a bit noisy. Overall, I recommend Temperance Inn."

"The hotel is in a very central location in the middle of Ambleside however there is no on site parking available. My room was clean and comfortable. I found it difficult to sleep though as the room was really warm and there was a lot of traffic noise early in the morning. Breakfast was very tasty with a good choice and the staff were friendly."

"The location is absolutely breathtaking nestled in the heart of the Lake District, easy access to stunning walks. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Food was particularly good, impressive. Room was a bit chilly and shower not great, but you can’t have everything for such a competitive price. Bed was very comfortable. "

"This was a business trip and the pub was the closest B&B, I found the staff fantastic always eager to help in anyway they could the owner of the pub was first class this coupled with great food and a good range of bears on draft made my stay excellent.
