"The hotel is in a really good location, central to a lot of things to do and resturants. The hotel is definitely old. The beds and shower were clean. The floors had debris from previous stays. The paint on the wall is peeling and the ceiling is coming off as well. There isn’t any cleaning people that come to tidy up during your stay and if you need any additional towel, toilet paper or anything you need to go to the desk yourself. Pros: good size rooms and restaurant Easy on site parking Helpful staff Comfortable beds Cons: Don’t think hotel guests should have to pay to use the spa facilities £30pp for 2 hours to sit in a hot tub. Open bathrooms - leave's little to no privacy which doesn’t suit all. Just box off bathroom area."

"Hotel was really lovely! We just had a room which was on the top floor and asked if we could have another fan or the windows to be open more as it was so hot in there. Girl from the bar wrote it down and said she will speak to the general manager but she only works on the bar so couldn’t tell me an answer which was totally fine. "We really liked the lodge as it felt much more private than the hotel but with all the amenities available. Gym small but with all equipment working. Pool clean and a pretty good size. Food excellent. All staff friendly and helpful."

"Rooms are nice and big. The carpets are heavily stained and dirty. Staff were okay, nothing bad but nothing wow. Bar staff was nice. Restaurant looked lush. Location is perfect. Breakfast was very expensive so went out for it."

"Good location but very tired property. Staff mostly polite but not really engaged. Make you prepay for parking but do not care if there is no space to actually park. Toilet did not work and room servicing poor. Cooked breakfast and coffee was thankfully OK. Town itself is cute and best place to eat is the very popular Corn Mill, a 5 minute walk away from this property."

"The staff were very attentive, even when taking very long to serve food between courses for evening meals. The Hotel is located in a great position, despite a busy road passing by. The rbedroom was generally clean but there were stains on some furniture, the carpet and the bathroom floor. Parking was excellent."
