"Toilet in room not clean when we checked in, advised reception and went to spa. Came back 2 hours later and still not cleaned, my partner went back to reception then had to show receptionist the mess left in the toilet, she said had checked and hadn’t seen anything wrong so just left it the first time.. couple hairs on the bedding, but after trying to sort the toilet never bothered to say anything. spa showers not very clean, clumps of hair. Restaurant had no menus, had to wait about 10 mins...
"On arrival they took too long to allocate a room, the staff where not friendly, apart from the lady in the breakfast room. The room was clean but tired looking. Bed comfortable, breakfast good, suppose to be superior room but only a seaview difference from standard. Main problem was the reception staff who couldn't be bothered to welcome visitors or look up from what ever they were doing to interact with guests"

"The room was very large and clean as was the bathroom. But it felt cosy. The staff at the pub were incredibly nice and helpful. It was a very nice, comforting stay with good food."
"The staff were extremely helpful helping us in and out with baggage and helping us in any way we needed. The only disapointment I felt was not taking gluten free that seriously . They did have the bread but meals were another thing and two days I had not choice of sweet. Otherwise I would go there again if we can travel that far another year."
"Property was conveniently located. However some item needed repair although they could be used. Example: the shower leaked water which wasted water. The TV didn’t have a video signal although that may have need due to storms. Staff were very helpful and room was clean and neat."

I really liked the Headlands Hotel. I chose it because of its look and its location.
It turned out to be in some ways - the most “challenging” place I stayed in my journey.
The two gentlemen (Forgive me for forgetting their names.) who were there to help the travelers were both friendly and worked as hard as possible to make the stay a pleasant one. There were some communications difficulties due to our different backgrounds, but we all did our best. ...
