"We had a lovely stay at The Mariners Hotel. Staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The only thing we didn't like and being pensioners was there isn't a lift (understandable because of the age of the building) however there were quite a few stairs to climb to our room . If we stayed again we would request a room with easier access. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel ."
"The only thing about the weekend stay was we returned from a coastal walk on the Saturday to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace only to be met with a crowd of party goers and a DJ. We couldn't get anywhere near the terrace but was lucky enough to get a seat inside with a view. Still not the same as it was such a beautiful day we wanted to be outside. Very hot week. A fan was provided & we were able to open the window however, the locals drinking outside were quite noisy & stayed after midnight a few nights.

"De kamer zelf is heel ruim maar de badkamer is amper 2 vierkante meter. De douchecabine is erg krap. Er is nergens plaats in de douche om iets van shampoo of douchegel te plaatsen. Er is ook zwarte schimmel op de voegen. De rolgordijnen in de kamer zijn ongeveer een halve meter te kort en kunnen dus niet het hele raam verduisteren. "The check in was easy, lady graciously let us check in a little earlier. Suite was big, clean and bright. The kitchenette area was a big plus, as was the free parking.
A short stroll down the hill to the beach and town, and both were lovely.
The hotel was lovely, a little tired in areas though. For instance, brambles overgrowing the paths, the pool which is a great touch, felt dirty and had an odour, im not an expert, but felt it needed filtering and a deep clean.

"Was allocated room 19 which was very clean but quite small. The worst part was it was directly above the extractor fan for the kitchen which started up at 6.30 a.m! Would try to avoid that side of the building if staying again."

"Rooms 1 and 7 were clean and comfy.
No. 1 was stuffy (possibly due to hot weather and no air con) and smelt of cooking . No. 7 was cooler but affected by traffic noise as there was a fair amount of traffic throughout the night. Not ideal for light sleepers. Can’t comment on the meals as we didn’t eat there. Easy access to Pendine Sands."
