"My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the deck is beautiful and there is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We took full advantage of the outdoor amenities--lounging in the hammock on the deck, eating meals at the outdoor tables, and making s'mores around the fire (the solo stove is nice perk). The Shortoff Mountain trail is only a 10 minute walk from the house and provides spectacular views of Lake James and the Linville Gorge. The...

"Great location with gorgeous views. A bit tricky getting to the house due to the mountain roads and driveway. Did not use the AV equipment or washer/dryer but all looked quite adequate. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, utensils as well as some basic condiments. Would certainly plan another stay (but not in the winter time)."
