"The room was very small for two twin beds and felt cramped for two adults. The bathroom, with a sliding barn door and automatic light, was awkward—the automatic light did not reliably turn off when the bathroom was empty and it was impossible to tell how to trigger the sensor to indicate the bathroom was empty. There was also mo closet and limited space to hang clothes. The room would have been suitable for a solo traveller or a very co-dependent couple but was cramped for two single individuals...

"Near everything! Great breakfast."

"The rooms were so nice!! And comfy!!! The staff was lovely and very sweet!!!! Emma helped us and she was so nice!!"

"Two good nights at the hotel - breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and very nice staff. Rooms are a little dated decor wise - but everything worked and no complaints. Parking and location was excellent... Definitely would stay again. We've stayed at other hotels around Cork and this was certainly one of the best stays."

"Kettle in the room would be good."

"The staff is excellent"

"Amazing property, location was quiet and very scenic views Well stocked kitchen and very nice rooms Highly recommended"

In other words a nice sensitive renovation. It is in the heart of old Kinsale tourist area, very convenient, but the streets are quiet in mid October. I loved our room, it was larger than usual, with kitchen and nice bath facilities. The building sits on the steps of an old Norman gate, a remnant of the old walled city. I...

"The apartment was semi clean and the bedding should be upgraded to the standards of travel for guests. It is centrally located in the town but for the price we paid it should have been a nicer stay. Also, there were no accommodations to wash your clothes and this was a disappointment with the amount of rain in the area."
