"We are vey puzzled about our 3 nights stay at Villa Carlo. The staff was very helpful and proactive. The minute we were getting to the breakfast restaurant, our cappuccino was prepared without us asking! This was the best breakfast amongst the 6 hotels we stayed at. A fantastic offering, so well presented, with an unbelievable number of choices for salty or sweet and fruits. The quality was well above standard. Even the cutlery and plates were fancy! The problem is really with the bathroom....

"This property is located in a very quiet area with not much to see in the immediate vicinity so you need a car if you want to visit the surrounding area. The hotel itself is small and lovely. The grounds are very well maintained and the pool area is a great place to just chill out. It is nice to wake up and see the olive trees outside. "Excellent having secure parking and couldn't fault Arcangelo's communication, instructions and friendliness. Delicious breakfast. My wife's only complaint as a light sleeper was the noise insulation- could hear upstair's water system filling up, chairs moving and conversations in the corridor as people waited for the lift."

"The hotel has a great location, but bad management. The place is wrecked, everything is rusted and VERY old. The double beds are actually 2 single mattresses, so if you are a couple prepare to fall between the gap. There is no Wi-Fi in rooms or anywhere near them. You have to go to reception, and it's limited even at hours with no one around. Took me 15 mins each time to download emails. The staff are all really unfriendly/not helpful even if you speak Italian. You can't pay with cash but...

"The hotel is far from the port but the hotel offer a free shuttle pick up and drop off. The location is secluded but beautiful. Hard to get around without a bike, scooter or car. They have a sister hotel with a nice pool which you can visit. The room was small the single bed was tiny. Not extremely comfortable but fine for one night. The breakfast wasn’t labelled so I struggled as a vegetarian. "

"I booked this hotel pre Covid lockdown, so when we arrived at the hotel we were informed that their was no on site swimming pool as shown in the pictures....however we were allowed access to a pool a shorgt drive away on an agriturismo that had a wonderful restaurant with delicious food.
