"It seems like a great hotel. Rooms clean, breakfast amazing. However, there was a very loud wedding organised during our stay. Couldn’t sleep until 1am and reception was gone at 11pm. Should be managed better."
"The staff was very friendly and helpful which you don’t always get in Czech unfortunately. The restaurant was surprisingly good, the pork chop was the best I ever had. The rooms were nice and clean, exactly what we needed while in town for Brutal Assault."
"This hotel is a 10 minute ride to downtown and the train station. The rooms are great, however there is no air conditioning, which was miserable in the heat of summer. Even if you cool the room down at night by opening doors, for some reason the room heats up again. It was 28.5 degrees Celsius in my room with no way to cool it down. They say they have "cooling units" that they can put in your room, but these are no more than fans that blow hot air around.

"HOTEL U BERANKA is a special hotel! We traveled here from Texas to visit with family and stayed in this hotel0. It is a much older hotel that reflects the beauty of it's surroundings in a town square in the town of Nachod in the Czech Republic. The charm is visible inside the Jr. King Suite where we stayed. The suite was nicely decorated, and it had several large, green cabinets to hold our belongings. We especially liked that the customer was able to dictate the frequency of housekeeping...
"Beautiful building and big room, but extremely outdated. Old dirty carpet and no air conditioning in the rooms. They give you a tiny desk fan. Extremely hot. For a "modern" hotel to not have ac is a crime. We were cooking in our room. Very uncomfortable. Staff was very nice. Location is good. Nice pool. Food from their restaurants sucked."
"Breakfast was excellent! Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Staff were not available when I needed extra soap, etc, and had to purchase my own. It was great for the price, but I will pay for a more comfortable bed any day. "
