"Paper thin walls and night club next door ! Room was basic for the price we paid. Phone not working. Very small bathroom with a nearly see through door ! The lift only goes down to the first floor - not to the ground floor. Breakfast overpriced. Only positive was the view. "

"Separate rooms, comfortable bed, nice shower with enough pressure, properly working air conditioning. The breakfast is great and with freshly ground coffee. They have a fixed lunch menu that is served until 18:30 so you have no worries about getting something to eat. The wine list is rather decent with nicely picked local organic reds, whites and rosés. Maora beach is within walking distance from the property so no worries about parking either. A great place to stay as a base to explore...

"The property was beautiful and the room was very nice. I especially appreciated the helpful staff as I speak English, and not much French and they were very accommodating. "

"Friendly staff who spoke fairly good English. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Came with crockery and cutlery and some pots and pans to use. We weren't aware that we would have to bring our own hand soap which I was a bit annoying on the first day. You are also given one toilet roll and one bin bag. It would of been helpful to know this before arriving. Other than that it was in a good location from Porto-Vecchio, with a nice little beach attached. "

"So, this is not an hotel, it's a holiday village with little hobbit-like bungalows, a bar and a restaurant, and a large pool. The outdoor restaurant plays loud music until midnight so don't plan to sleep before then. The food at the restaurant was ok but the bread was chewy, no reason to have dinner unless you are stuck at the resort. Check-out is early at 10 am."

"Nice hotel and pool. The rooms had pretty thin walls as we were able to hear the rooms next to/above us. The staff wasn't very helpful for us when trying to get help making a reservation in town because our phones didn't work. We were basically told 'no we don't do that' and turned away without further assistance. The rooms and facilities were nicely sized and clean! Location was good; close to the marina and to town."

"We were pleasantly surprised with the comfort of our room at Hotel Castell'Verde, which was newly renovated, had fantastic air conditioning, and included a sizable outdoor terrace. The property itself is adequately appointed with nicely manicured gardens, two tennis courts, and a small-ish pool for hotel guests, which was never busy during the three days we stayed.
