"Stayed here as a family base to get the ferry the next morning. Children enjoyed the pool and hot tub, then watching curling whilst having dinner. Food was good and not badly priced. Staff polite and friendly. Room worked really well for 4. Shower over the bath could have been better. Able to charge an electric car with no hassle. All in all would recommend."

"Booking a room with a Seaview is a must when staying here...we only had dinner and breakfast twice , really enjoyed what he had, the buffet breakfast being hot was bonus too ..young girl Olivia is an asset to the place and couldn't help us enough...we will definitely be back x"

"Not a very friendly welcome and no help with luggage ( no elevator). Friendly breakfast gal and a pub and eatery downstairs and right next door. Waterfront walk if weather is nice"

"Bar area is absolutely lovely, great drinks, food and the staff are lovely. Breakfast was lush. Just watch out if you're in the top floor and you're about 6ft! Love this place."

"Very clean, lovely owners, great breakfast, comfortable bed, easy safe parking outside."

"We couldn’t get into the property because it has been closed to the public for some time, Expedia obviously didn’t know about that because they kept sending us emails regarding our stay and when we turned up There after a late night ferry crossing we were stuck in the back of beyond and having tried to book other hotels in Dumfries with no joy we won’t be using Expedia again ever!! "This is a room above a pub. It is the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. It is small but functional with a comfortable bed. The staff are excellent and extremely accommodating. Breakfast is free and so is the clean fresh air. Food is excellent and the place is pet friendly. Its about 35 mins to the ferry but worth the journey."

"This property was perfect for us. Sandy was so nice when we arrived early. We love to be able to have a window open and see outside. It’s nothing fancy but it was clean and host was fantastic."

"We found the B&B to be delightful and peaceful as well as convenient to the ferry. We could not have asked for a more pleasant and cordial host!!!"

"Excellent lodge, high standard. Comfortable and clean with great outdoors space. Shame cushions had been left out and soaking couldn’t use nice garden furniture in the good weather."

"From the moment of arriving we were made to feel at home , our cases and bags were transferred to our Lodge for us enabling a seamless check in. The lodge itself was immaculate , clean , fresh and very high end equipped with all required utensils available . En-suite to the main room, a balcony overlooking the lovely bay , very impressed with everything . A nice welcome hamper on arrival was also a nice touch , Staff couldn’t do any more to make our stay perfect , Will definitely return , Five...

"Great place to stay. Clean, roomy, well appointed and it has free long-stay parking across the street. Much better than a conventional hotel!"
